The House of Music aims to be an “hybrid space for shared use”, that incentivizes the exchange between audiences, artists, students and educators. In fact, the building collects many different purposes – such as cultural uses and pedagogical functions – and also wide public spaces, all organized in an open and synergetic system.

Shigeru Ban wins the International competition for the Tainan Museum of Fine Arts.
The museum, that will be fucused on art, literature and history, is supposed to promote Tawain’s emergent cultural interests with its new educational facilities.
The Harpa Building is inspired by nature: Icelandic scenaries are unforgettable even in a big city such as Reykjavik. The project won the Mies van der Rohe Award 2013.
